Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc. has worked with nonprofit organizations, conducting surveys of stakeholders to meet the following information objectives:
- Understand the awareness and perceptions of how well the nonprofit organization fulfills its mission
- Examine why stakeholders support the nonprofit organization
- Evaluate the importance of issues to be addressed by the nonprofit organization
Since the information needs are different for every nonprofit organization, Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc. focuses on identifying and providing relevant information using a customized research process. Our research process includes developing a customized survey, contacting stakeholders identified by the nonprofit organization, and analyzing the results to help your nonprofit organization make effective and efficient decisions.
Stakeholder Surveys
Although the information collected for each nonprofit organization is unique, generally, stakeholder surveys examine four areas:
- Awareness and Perceptions – How much the stakeholder knows about the nonprofit organization and its services
- Communication Effectiveness – Where the stakeholder has seen or heard of the nonprofit organization
- Contribution and Support – Level of stakeholder donation and support
- Stakeholder Demographics – General information on stakeholders used for statistical purposes
The survey process begins by meeting with the nonprofit organization to identify the survey objectives. The survey is then developed to address those objectives and meet generally accepted survey practices. Once the survey is approved by the nonprofit organization the interviewing process begins. Analysis of the data and preparation of the report is completed within a few weeks after the interviewing process is completed. Once the report is completed, the staff of Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc. will present the survey results to the nonprofit organization. Most stakeholder surveys require between ten and twelve weeks to complete. The cost depends on the number of stakeholders surveyed and the length of the survey.
