The consultants at Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc. are marketing and management professionals, with expertise in a wide variety of areas. There are two consultants and a staff of support personnel, which are assembled on a project-by-project basis, to ensure that each client receives expert assistance in the most effective and efficient manner.

Our consulting staff and management team includes:

Gary M. Goscenski - Director of Consulting Services

As Director of Consulting Services, Mr. Goscenski is responsible for the on-going success of the company through the development of Perspectives’ clients and the effective and efficient delivery of our services. As one of the original three co-founders of Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc., he has done a little bit of everything. He works with all types of clients including nonprofits, schools, governments, corporate clients, United Ways, churches, associations, retailers, advertising agencies, manufacturers, banks, newspapers, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, colleges, universities, restaurants, senior centers, social service agencies, cities, counties, townships, arts organizations, technology companies, etc. Mr. Goscenski earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management and marketing from Western Michigan University in 1987. He serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and volunteers his time to work with several community organizations. He enjoys the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated group of people, doing something he loves to do. He is proud of the work Perspectives does, especially when the work positively impacts the client’s success. Through the internship program, Mr. Goscenski has the opportunity to share some of his experience and knowledge with the next generation of market researchers and strategists.

Dr. Paul M. Lane - Senior Consultant

As Senior Consultant, Dr. Lane works with clients in the areas of facilitated planning and research such as focus groups and interviews. Dr. Lane is a marketing professor at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Lane is internationally known for his work in time management. He applies his time management research to organizations through the development of efficient and effective strategic plans. Dr. Lane earned his Ph.D. in marketing from Michigan State University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Stetson University. He lives in the Holland, Michigan area and is active with a variety of nonprofit organizations.

Kirsten Koefoed - Financial Administrator

As Financial Administrator, Ms. Koefoed is responsible for financial activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial statements, and taxes. Ms. Koefoed earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and German from Western Michigan University. She volunteers at St. Mary’s School and with Boy Scout Troop 169 in Paw Paw, Michigan.

Heather Jones – Director of Analysis and Reporting

As Director of Analysis and Reporting, Ms. Jones is responsible for specifying, analyzing, and reporting on primary and secondary research data collected for project-specific purposes. Ms. Jones reviews data and develops specific and objective conclusions based on the data, and then communicates the results of the data and conclusions in the form of a report. Ms. Jones graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from Western Michigan University in 2002.

Kasey Sylvester – Director of Client Relations

As Director of Client Relations, Ms. Sylvester is responsible for the marketing and promotion of Perspectives Consulting Group, Inc., as well as developing and maintaining client relations. Her duties include writing articles and press releases, creating marketing and promotional materials, putting together e-newsletters, presentations, and information packets, and editing materials such as proposals and reports. She also manages the Nonprofit Research Assistance Program. Ms. Sylvester joined Perspectives in January of 2009 as the Marketing Intern and became the Director of Client Relations in August of 2009. She graduated in December of 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and a minor in social work from Western Michigan University. Her passions are writing and editing, and she enjoys working for a company that helps organizations achieve their goals.

Kelly Vallier – Project Coordinator

As Project Coordinator, Ms. Vallier is responsible for the entry and processing of surveys, locating supporting information using secondary research, and contributing to reports. Ms. Vallier joined Perspectives in January of 2009 and has been a part of putting together reports, helping run and put together statistical data, and handling routine communication and correspondence between other employees and clients. Before working at Perspectives, Ms. Vallier held the position as student worker for education researchers at Science and Mathematics Program Improvement (SAMPI) on the campus of Western Michigan University. She also worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation as a data collector during the summer of 2008, traveling around the state conducting face-to-face interviews with the motoring public. Ms. Vallier will graduate in April of 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in food and consumer packaged goods marketing with a dual minor in general business and management from Western Michigan University. After graduation, Ms. Vallier is interested in finding a position with a market research firm.

Jackie Luedtke – Research Intern

As Research Intern, Ms. Luedtke is responsible for the entry and processing of surveys, locating supporting information using secondary research, and contributing to reports. Ms. Luedtke joined Perspectives in May of 2010 and has been a part of putting together reports, helping run and put together statistical data, and handling routine communication and correspondence between other employees and clients. Before working at Perspectives, Ms. Luedtke held the position as one of Western Michigan University’s Student Homecoming Coordinators for the 2009 season. She also worked for the American Red Cross-Greater Kalamazoo Area Chapter as the Disaster Training Coordinator where she coordinated scheduling the disaster training classes for volunteers and instructors. Ms. Luedtke is a member-at-large on the board of directors at Oakwood Neighborhood Association. She will graduate with honors in June of 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Social Work, dual majoring in organizational communication and social work, with a minor in nonprofit leadership from Western Michigan University. After graduation, Ms. Luedtke is interested in completing another term in AmeriCorps and then attending graduate school for public administration.
